Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC
Establishing operations from the heart of Colombo, Prince Street in 1906. British American Tobacco (BAT) opened their subsidiary in Ceylon for the trade of cigarettes. By 1926, BAT successfully initiated the first cigarette manufacturing factory. During the year of 1932, the company gained their present name as Ceylon Tobacco Company (CTC) of Ceylon.

At present , CTC is the only legal cigarette manufacturing company and the largest individual tax contributor in Sri Lanka..CTC produces the following product brands;
