REX GROUP, now one of Sri Lanka's most unprecedented and experienced manufacturers of any kind of machinery spare parts. Its inception dates back to 1976 established a small industry in Negombo. Visionary minded on the future of the industry he decided to further strengthen the organization by introducing advanced technology and diversified activities, to meet the needs of its clients.

In 1980 brought in another addition to the industry, considering the fact a great demand for casting, introduced in the same year. By this time "Rex" had received many promotional privileges by the relevant state departments for its achievements. In 1993 the organization was fortified further by incorporating into a (Private) Limited Company. Now "Rex" has become a household name among the successful producers of high integrity ferrous and non-ferrous castings and finished parts, for major textile industries and in other engineering fields as well.
